Participant Waiver
     and Consent

By registering for IMPACT Australia, you agree to the following terms:

1. Acknowledgement of Risk

I understand that participation in IMPACT Australia, including service projects (such as backyard blitz activities), outreach programs, bonfire gatherings, and transport to off-site locations, involves inherent risks of injury, accident, or unforeseen incidents.

I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur as a result of my participation in the event.

2. Medical Consent

I authorise IMPACT Australia organisers to seek medical treatment on my behalf in the event of injury, illness, or emergency, should I be unable to provide consent at the time. I understand that first aid personnel will be available on-site.
I have provided emergency contact details and relevant medical information (including allergies or health concerns) during registration.

3. Behaviour and Conduct

I agree to conduct myself in a manner consistent with the values and expectations of the IMPACT Australia event. I understand that:

• I am expected to treat all participants, organisers, and the local community with kindness, respect, and integrity.
• I will participate in scheduled activities in a cooperative and safe manner.
• Any serious breach of the code of conduct, including behaviour that places others at risk, may result in my removal from the event at the discretion of the organisers.

4. Transport and Off-Site Activities

I consent to participate in off-site activities, including travel provided by the event organisers to outreach and social events, understanding that appropriate safety measures will be in place.

5. Photography and Media Consent

I consent to being photographed or filmed during the IMPACT Australia event. I acknowledge that these images may be used by IMPACT Australia and its partners for promotional purposes, including print, digital, and social media.

6. Release of Liability

I release and hold harmless IMPACT Australia, its organisers, staff, volunteers, and associated venues from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from my participation in the event, except in cases of proven negligence.
